Job Description

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our software solutions. You’ll work in an agile, cross-functional team, closely collaborating with software engineers to improve our CI/CD pipeline, optimize our system, and ensure the availability, scalability, and security of our services.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement efficient CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate closely with the software development team to understand their needs and ensure system reliability.
• Manage our cloud infrastructure and ensure its scalability, reliability, and efficiency.
• Employ automation tools to streamline operations and processes.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Maintain and improve system security measures.
• Stay up-to-date on relevant technologies and propose changes and updates as necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in a DevOps role, preferably within a software development environment.
• Proven experience with cloud-based platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Extensive knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Travis CI, GitLab CI, etc.) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with network protocols and security considerations for large scale systems.
• Comfortable working in an agile, team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Haves

Certifications in cloud platforms such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Professional DevOps Engineer, etc. Experience with serverless architecture.
